Fixed-price development

Clear pricing before construction begins

Every project receives a defined scope, a fixed price, and an agreed delivery timeline before development begins. No open-ended hourly billing. No growing invoice without a growing scope.

  • Fixed scope
  • Fixed price
  • Accelerated delivery
  • 30% timeline guarantee

Philosophy

Why we price by project

You are buying a completed business outcome, not an uncertain quantity of development hours. What matters is whether the right product is designed, built, delivered, and ready to create value.

Defined scope plus fixed price plus agreed timeline equals accountable delivery.

  • Efficiency should benefit the client, not shorten the invoice.
  • Expertise should not be punished by billing for fewer hours.
  • A delay should not automatically raise the client’s cost.
  • The scope should be understood before development, not discovered during it.
  • The price moves with scope, never with hidden time.

Timeline

Build time and review time are defined separately

Initial delivery covers construction of the agreed product. The review period is the window to test, refine, and approve it before the launch process is completed.

The guarantee

A timeline with consequences

The studio commits to an initial delivery date in writing. If it misses that date for reasons within its control — with the agreed scope unchanged and your materials provided on time — the total project fee is reduced by 30%. It is accountability for the commitment, not a discount.

On-time price$20,000
If a committed date is missed$14,000

A reduction of $6,000 (30%). An example of the rule, not a quote.

The guarantee applies when

  • The committed initial-delivery date is missed
  • The delay is within the studio’s reasonable control
  • The agreed scope has not materially changed
  • The client has met the agreed responsibilities
  • Required materials and approvals arrived on time

The timeline may pause for

  • Late feedback, content, or approvals
  • Missing credentials or access
  • A client-requested pause
  • New features or a material scope change
  • Third-party outages or platform approval delays
  • Events outside reasonable control

The guarantee is measured against the agreed initial-delivery milestone, and assumes the scope is unchanged and required materials arrive on time.

Payment

Pay to begin. Pay the majority after delivery.

Projects begin with a commencement deposit of 10% to 25%, by size and upfront cost. The remaining balance is due after the agreed product is delivered, reviewed, and approved.

The public range is 10% to 25%, by project size.

Revisions

Unlimited refinements within the agreed scope

You are not rationed to a number of revision rounds. Refinements to the agreed product continue until the delivery requirements are satisfied — and new scope is never hidden inside an hourly invoice.

Included refinements

Unlimited within the agreed scope, throughout the review period.

  • Adjusting layout and spacing
  • Refining visual details
  • Updating wording
  • Improving responsive behavior
  • Correcting agreed functionality
  • Improving an agreed workflow
  • Refining minor interactions
  • Fixing implementation inconsistencies

New project scope

Reviewed separately, with its own fixed price and timeline.

  • A new major feature
  • Another application
  • A new user type or role
  • An unplanned integration
  • A new dashboard
  • Replacing the approved design direction
  • Changing the core product architecture
  • Building outside the agreed blueprint

New scope is reviewed separately and given its own fixed price and timeline — never folded into an hourly bill.

Working together

What we need from you

Rapid delivery assumes decisions and materials arrive without extended delay. When client dependencies are late, the timeline may pause until construction can continue.

  • A primary decision-maker
  • Timely feedback and approvals
  • Required brand and content assets
  • Credentials and access to existing technology
  • Accurate product information
  • Legal and policy copy where it applies
  • Availability during the review period

Estimating

What determines the final price

Select the features your project needs to see the category most likely to fit. It points at a tier, never a quote.

General guidance only. An exact fixed price is established after the consultation and project blueprint.

Questions

Pricing, answered

Are these prices fixed?

Once the scope is agreed, the project has a fixed price. It changes only when you request a material change to the agreed scope, or when a previously unknown requirement materially alters the architecture.

What causes the price to change?

A scope change — a new feature, a new user type, an unplanned integration, or a change to the core architecture. New scope is reviewed separately and given its own fixed price, never folded quietly into an hourly bill.

How is the deposit chosen?

The commencement deposit generally runs from 10% to 25%, depending on the size of the project and its upfront costs. The remaining balance is due after delivery and approval.

What does “delivery” mean?

Initial delivery is the working agreed product: the core functionality works, it reflects the approved direction, and it is ready for you to review. It is not the end of every possible revision — the review period follows it.

How does the timeline guarantee work?

If the studio misses the committed initial-delivery date for reasons within its control — with the agreed scope unchanged and your materials provided on time — the total fee is reduced. It is accountability for the commitment, not a discount.

What pauses the delivery timeline?

Late feedback, missing content or credentials, a requested pause, a material scope change, or third-party and platform delays outside reasonable control. The timeline pauses until construction can continue.

Are revisions really unlimited?

Within the agreed scope, yes — you are not rationed to a fixed number of rounds. The review period continues until the delivery requirements are met. New scope is a separate, separately-priced conversation.

Are third-party services included?

Infrastructure, software licenses, payment-processing and messaging fees, AI usage, and specialized APIs may be billed separately or folded into the fixed price when they can be reasonably estimated.

Can you take over an existing product?

Often, yes. It is scoped in the consultation, since the state of an existing codebase affects both the price and the timeline.

Can a project fall between two tiers?

Yes. The categories are guidance on investment. The final price is based on the actual architecture, scope, and complexity — which is what the consultation establishes.

Do advanced systems have a maximum price?

No public maximum. Advanced systems start at a published figure, and architecture and scope determine the final investment, agreed before development begins.

Final scope, timeline, payment terms, ownership, third-party costs, and project-specific conditions are confirmed in the individual project agreement.
